Meet our staff David received his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2010. He went back and completed his Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry (Implants) in 2015. He enjoys being hands on and knowing that he has a direct impact on his patients’ oral health. Due to this he is especially interested in dental implants, root canal therapy, crowns and bridges. He is also able to speak Mandarin His favourite part about working in the dental industry is when he is able to ease his patient’s pain, gain their trust and help them restore their teeth. He loves it when they can smile and eat happily. He wants to make sure that patients understand that prevention is key, enamel doesn’t grow back and that a small cavity is easier to fix than a large one. Outside of work he enjoys soccer, playing guitar, cycling and looking after his baby girl. Dr Lachlan Berry grew up having great experiences visiting the dentist. This inspired him to enter the profession of dentistry, aiming to help his patients have the same experiences he had. Having graduated in 2021, he now loves educating children about oral hygiene, helping them set up the right habits for a healthy smile as they grow older.

Dr Berry’s favourite part of his work is connecting and working with patients on their oral health goals. He particularly enjoys supporting anxious patients, aiming to create a calm environment and build trust so they can work together on dental health concerns. His other areas of interest include crowns and wisdom tooth extractions.

In his spare time, Dr Berry stays active by participating in triathlons and other multisport events. He also enjoys watching AFL and is an avid Melbourne Demons supporter.

Dr Izzat Midinov has over 10 years of experience in dentistry, having graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2011. He holds special interests in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry, and he most enjoys performing root canal therapy and restorative treatment.

Dr Midinov pursued dentistry for the opportunity to work in a healthcare setting, hoping to learn from and teach others in the profession. A caring, communicative and passionate dentist, he enjoys helping people from all walks of life with their smile.

When he’s not in practice, Dr Midinov likes to spend time reading, cycling and exploring his passion for cars.
Helen chose to study a bachelor’s degree in Oral Health to further educate those around her on the importance of good oral hygiene and early prevention. In 2017 she completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Melbourne. Helen has an interest in the provision of oral hygiene instructions and gum disease/periodontal maintenance, which goes hand in hand. She also feels a sense of satisfaction in completing a deep clean for patients and seeing the difference in results. In her spare time, you will either find Helen participating in outdoor activities such as hiking and camping or exploring local coffee shops and restaurants. Michaela has always had an interest in working within the dental industry. In 2016 she completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at La Trobe University in Bendigo. Michaela is passionate about providing preventative dental care and attending to specific patient needs. She finds it very rewarding to support patients while they make positive changes and improve their oral health and overall well-being. Outside of work, Michaela enjoys travelling to new destinations. Her favourite travel destination is San Sebastian, Spain.
